Somfy Sonesse 30 (ST30) RTS Motorized Roller Shades Include
Hemmed shade mounted on tube with supporting components as outline below and Free Standard Ground Shipping to the 48 contiguous states.
Motor
• Somfy Sonesse 30 (ST30) RTS Shade Motor w/adapters, not installed in tube *
* Motors are not installed in the shade tube to protect the motor during transit. The motors will ship separately with all necessary adapters installed and ready for easy installation. No additional hardware is required for the motor installation and they simply slide into the tubes. Please refer to the shade installation instructions below with the downloads.
Tubes Sizes
• Shades up to 96" width use 1.5" Rollease Shade Tubes.
• Shades 96" to 120" width use 2" Rollease Shade Tubes.
Tall shades at 96" Width and less may require the use of 2" tubes due to tube deflection. We calculate tube deflection to determine the flatness of a shade and make adjustments to the shade tube size as necessary..
Idler / End Plug
• 1.5" Tube Shades - Rollease REP53 Idler/End Plug Installed
• 2" Tube Shades - Rollease REP53/RA2 Idler/End Plug installed.
Brackets
• Rollease RB360 Brackets are used on shades without Fascia.

Motor Information
The Somfy Sonesse 30 (ST30) is part of Somfy's line-up of quiet Sonesse motors. The ST30 RTS motor is a quiet (42dBa) radio frequency based motor for small to large shades with its 2Nm lifting capacity. The compact, low profile Sonesse 30 motor is designed for tubes as small as the Rollease 1.5" tube and is upwards compatible with the 2" Rollease tubes. This motor is perfect for shades 20" to 120" wide tip to tip including brackets. The ST30 RTS motor is powered by a 24VDC wall plug DC adapter or can be remotely powered by a larger power power supply. This Somfy motor is easy to use and install.
Radio Frequency: The Sonesse 30 shade motor is Radio Frequency based so you don't have to point the remote at it every time you want to control it. In fact, you can control the shades in your living room from your bedroom completely wirelessly. The motor stores the limits set by the remote controls. With the momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up, Full Down and to a customer specified preferred position. No need to hold the button down and wait for the shade to reach the desired position.
Mutiple Controls: The shade motor is controlled via Somfy's advanced (RTS) RF technology which offers the user simple individual or group control. Each motor can be controlled by more than one remote control. You can use one remote for local room based control and another remote for whole home control. The addition of the Somfy Mylink mobile device interface provides scheduled timers and conntrol from your phone or tablet from almost anywhere. Not at home and forgot to close a shade, not a problem with the MyLink.
Adjustable Speed: The Sonesse 30 series shade motors have adjustable rotation speed so you can closely match the speeds of other shades in the same room.
Soft Stop: The shade motor reduces speed as it nears a programmed stopping point to softly stop your shade.
Integrated Power Connection: The Sonesse 30 motor is provided with a Weidmuller 2 piece treminal block style power connection that allows for easy connection to power and can be disconnected even easier.

Shade Coverings - Fascia, Valances, Cornices
Due to the possible options Fascia, Valances and Cornices are offered separately from the shades and can be purchased in our Shade Coverings page.
A couple exmples of the our offerings are listed below.
Classic IB Valance
The Classic IB shade valance provides a simple clean covering for your window treatment needs. This valance is offered in a large variety of materials so it can blend in or provide a nice textural contrast. This valance is constructed of shade material and has a hemmed pocket with an aluminum hem bar. One of the nice features of this valance is its soft nature. It can be easily moved out of the way to gain access to the window treatment behind it. The Classic IB Valance is available with a height of 5" to 8" and is offered with two different header options to suit your mounting needs. The 1" D x 3/4" H header can be used where you have adequate depth to mount the valance in front of the shade or you can choose 3 1/2"D x 3/4" H header that you would mount in the window frame before mounting the shade and then mount the shade to the header board. The valance is mounted to the header board using staples so it can be dismantled, modified and reassembled by the users to further suit their needs.
Fascia
The Rollease RFP Series aluminum fascia panel simply snaps into the fascia panel brackets for easy access to the roller shade components. The RFP series fascia panel can be used for inside or outside frame mount applications. This fascia panel covers the front and bottom to hide the shade assembly. The back and top of the fascia are left open. The use of this fascia panel forces the shade to use regular roll. Regular roll puts the shade material closest to the window. The 4" Fascia panel is our standard size offered which is compatible with our Chain & Clutch Shades, Somfy LT30, R28, ST30, ST40 and ST50 Motorized Shades.
Lead Time
The lead time for fabrication of shades is typically 7 business days but please check the lead time indicated near the "Add to Cart" button. The lead time for shades varies throughout the year and it will be listed more accurately there. The product ships directly from our shade manufacturer to you.
Return Policy
Shades are built to customer specific requirements and as such are special order items. We can not accept returns for custom built or special order items. This does not mean we are not able to help customers post purchase. Shades ordered too wide may be returned and cut down. Shades ordered too small can not be fixed. Some components of the order might also be returnable. Please contact us if you have questions about our return policy.
Warranty
Shade Fabrication: Limited Lifetime non-transferable warranty. Covers workmanship: IE Hemming, Attachment of material to the tube etc.
Shade Material: Phifer Materials carry a 5 or 10 year limited warranty against defects depending on the particular fabric. Fading and changes in color are not warranted. Interior shade control fabrics must be used in interior applications.
Rollease Components: Rollease provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on their Clutch mechanisms and a 10 Year limited warranty on other components.
Somfy Products carry a limited 5 Year Warranty against defects and failure when used in interior shading applications. Products must comply to technical design and usage standards. Batteries are not covered under any warranty.
All warranties stated herein are limited abbreviated warranties and consumers should check with component manufacturers for complete warranty terms. As is the case with all warranties. AV Outlet, SOMFY, Phifer, Rollease etc shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of, or the inability to use the equipment. Before using, the buyer and/or the ultimate user shall determine the suitability of the product for its intended use and the user assumes all risks and liability in connection therewith. The consumer is responsible for returning the product for warranty servicing.
