Somfy 9410648 ST50/LT50 Universal Intermediate Link Bracket w/ 2" Drives

The Somfy Universal Intermediate Link Bracket Kit is used to link 1 motor multiple shades reducing the number of motors required. This link bracket also reduces the number of brackets required and best of all it reduces the light gap to 0.50" minimum. (Up to 0.75 is typical). The 9410648 comes with 2" hard clip drives installed but these can be removed and replaced with other drives for added compatibility like the Rollease 2.5" RTA6U50 crown and drive kit. As is the case with most heavy duty components the use of this idler with smooth wall tubes does require the end of the tube to be notched and the assembly must be either riveted or screwed in place. The nice thing with the 2.5" Rollease tubes is that no modification is necessary to the tube since their tube design features an aggressive internal rib pattern.

CAUTION: The use of these link components reduces the lifting capacity of motors by 10% per link. Size you motor accordingly. This link intermediate bracket does not allow the shades to stop at separate heights. Installation and assembly must be precise so that both shades stop at the same correct height.
