ZMC RS-921 Somfy Sonesse 50 (ST50) ULTRA DC Motor Adjustable Idler End Bracket for 10mm Idlers - White

The ZMC RS-921 an adjustable* idler end bracket for Somfy** and ZMC 10mm idlers that are ONLY used with Somfy 50 Series Sonesse Ultra DC motors. The limitation for use with the Ultra DC motors is due to the longer projection of this bracket that only matches the brackets designed for the Ultra DC motors. The ZMC RS-921 idler end brackets feature a leveling screw and a sealed ball bearing. The leveling screw allows the shade to be easily leveled* post installation. The idler end bracket bearing provides smoother and quieter operation of the Somfy motorized shade. The optional bracket cover that is typically used for outside mount installations simply snaps in place to provide a cleaner look.

* Note: The adjustable leveling only works when the foot of the bracket is up. The leveling portion of this bracket floats and is not spring loaded so gravity or weight hold it in position. If you use this bracket for back wall mounting the leveling will not work because it will be in the horizontal plane.

** Note: The Somfy 10mm idlers require the ZMC RS-042 spacer to prevent the idler shaft from protruding through the other side of the idler end fascia bracket. The Somfy 9420800 idler requires both the spacer and also needs to be additionally shortened by cutting or grinding. The spacer is needed for the 9420800 even though you have to cut the shaft because the hex portion of the idler shaft will contact the bearing bore. Please see the included photos.
