The ZMC RS-711/715 an idler end bracket for Somfy* and ZMC 10mm idlers that are typically used with Somfy ST50 and LT50 Series motors. The ZMC RS-711 idler end brackets feature sealed ball bearings. The idler end bracket bearing provides smoother and quieter operation of the Somfy motorized shade. The optional bracket cover that is typically used for outside mount installations simply snaps in place to provide a cleaner look.

• RS-042 Spacer for Somfy 10mm Idlers
* Note: The Somfy 10mm ilders require the ZMC RS-042 spacer to prevent the idler shaft from protruding through the other side of the idler end fascia bracket. The Somfy 9420800 idler requires both the spacer and also needs to be additionally shortened by cutting or grinding. The spacer is needed for the 9420800 even though you have to cut the shaft because the hex portion of the idler shaft will contact the bearing bore. Please see the included photos. The spacer is not required when used with the ZMC RS-801, RS-884 or RS-887 idlers.

* Projection Distance is the distance from the mounting surface to the center of the tube. Divide your roll diameter in half to figure out if this bracket provides enough space to mount your shade.
