Plastic Beaded Chain
Colored plastic beads are fused to a color coordinated nylon cord. The plastic beaded chain is argued to be the strongest of the chain options due to its continuous cord. Plastic beaed chains do not hang as nicely as the metal beaded chains.

Includes: Color coordinated chain connector and clear snap-on stop ball.

Nickel Plated Steel Beaded Chain
The least durable of all choices but more economical than stainless steel.

Includes: Nickel plated steel chain connector and crimp-on stop ball.

Stainless Steel Beaded Chain
Stainless steel beaded chain is close to the plastic beaded chain in strength. The advantage of stainless steel is that it will retain its appearance.

Includes: Stainless steel chain connector and nickel plated steel crimp-on stop ball.

* Projection Distance is the distance from the mounting surface to the center of the tube. Divide your roll diameter in half to figure out which bracket you need. If your roll diameter is 3.25" you will need the SLB680 brackets. Use of the SLB660 would result in the shade rubbing the wall. If you do not know what your roll diameter is you can calculate the roll diameter using the shade calculator.

The RolleaseZMC chain tensioning device is versatile safety device to hold beaded chain and cord. Chain tensioning devices are strongly recommended to keep the chain tight to the wall. This greatly reduces the chances for injuries. Complies with the WCMA-ANSI standard that requires a hold-down device to make the shade partially inoperable unless the hold-down device is installed. The hold-down device is designed for continuous cord or bead chain loops that allows stop balls and/or connectors to pass through.

The Rollease Skyline Series Clutches ending with H01 are designed to fit into 1 1/8" tubes but easy to use adapters are available for 1.25" and 1.5" shade tubes. The Rollease SL10H01-Kit is a custom clutch shade kit that allows you to select the necessary components for your shade installation. Use this kit for small to large shades up to 96" W x 96" H(**Consider Shade Weight). All necessary items are listed here with the clutch as an option. The base price for the kit is for the clutch alone without options.

We sell the clutch kits without consideration of use. Clutches are rated for capacity to hold a material in place. Clutches with small heads require more pull force to lift a shade than a clutch with a larger head. Larger tubes will require more pull force than smaller tubes. Below are our generic recommendations for clutch use which are conservative. Tube deflection and pull force are considered.
   •  Shades up to 48" width - SL10 or SL15 Clutch and 1.125" Tube
   •  Shades up to 60" width - SL10 or SL15 Clutch and 1.25" Tube
   •  Shades up to 64" width - SL10 or SL15 Clutch and 1.5" Tube
   •  Shades up to 96" width - SL20 or SL30 Clutch and 1.5" Tube
   •  Shades up to 120" width - SL30 Clutch and 2" Tube
   •  Shades up to 144" width - SL30 Clutch and 2.5" Tube
