Tip to Tip Measurement: This is the measurement used for shades mounted within a window frame or within framed constraints. This is effectively the measurement from the outside edge of the brackets in a shade system.

Maximum Width limitations are guidelines to minimize tube deflection and are not always a reflection of lifting capacity. The shade fabricator calculator below should be used to determine a system's limitations.
Note: We sell the motorized shade kits without consideration of use. Roller shade motors typically have a lifting capacity that out performs a tube's deflection. Tube deflection can cause ripples in the shade material and is based on the length of the tube and size (weight) of the shade.
Below is a generic guideline for max tube lengths based on the tube size.
• Shades up to 64" width - 1.25" Rollease Tube
• Shades up to 96" width - 1.5" Rollease Tube
• Shades up to 120" width - 2" Rollease Tube
• Shades up to 144" width - 2.5" Rollease Tube
• Shades up to 168" width - 3.25" Rollease Tube
Actual shade size, tube size and material should be used to determine the true limits of a system. The Shade Fabricator Calculator below will predict tube deflection (and more) based on tube size, material weight, width and height. Tube deflection is bending of the tube and causes ripples in the hanging shade material.

The use of the internal hem bar requires a material formed pocket at the bottom of the shade. The hem bar pocket is typically formed by stitching or fusing the material. Alternative methods like double stick tape and adhesives can be used with some experimentation.
The motor and end plug slide into the tube without the use of tools. The included roller shade tube features double stick tape to securely attach your roller shade material. We recommend cutting the shade material height so a minimum of 1.5" extra wraps of material is left on the shade tube when the shade is fully down. This prevents the material from directly pulling on the tape.
* Projection Distance is the distance from the mounting surface to the center of the tube. You would need to shim the brackets or use larger projection brackets if half the roll diameter is larger than the projection distance of the brackets. If you do not know what your roll diameter is you can calculate the roll diameter using the shade calculator above.
About the Motor
The Gaposa XS30 series Super Sileos XS30-DC2028 is a quiet 24VDC roller shade motor. Gaposa XS Super Sileos motors are engineered with superior noise reduction technology and are barely heard. This compact, low profile shade motor can be used in 1.5" or 2" Rollease tubes and with its 2Nm torque can be used in shades as wide as 120". Choose this motor where small and large shades need to be lifted and where operation must be at their quietest levels. This shade motor is powered via 24VDC from a wall plug-in transformer or from a remotely located power supply.
Radio Frequency: This Gaposa shade motor is Radio Frequency based so you don't have to point the remote at it every time you want to control it. In fact, you can control the shades in your living room from your bedroom completely wirelessly. The motor stores the limits set by the remote controls. With the momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up, Full Down and to a customer specified preferred position. No need to hold the button down and wait for the shade to reach the desired position.
Multiple Controls: The shade motor is controlled via Gaposa's advanced RF technology which offers the user simple individual or group control. Each motor can be controlled by more than one remote control. You can use one remote for local room based control and another remote for whole home control. Need more advanced controls? No problem, Gaposa has the RollApp Android/iOS mobile device interface that provides manual and scheduled timer based control. Need integration with your home automation system? No Problem, Gaposa has the LinkIt RS232 control and QCTZ36SDU Dry Contact interface for integration with Home Automation systems.
Soft Stop: The shade motor reduces speed as it nears a programmed stopping point to softly stop your shade.
