We are not responsible for typographical, technical or descriptive errors of products herein.

Technical Support:
AV Outlet prides itself on being able to provide technical support for most of the products it sells. We can, and do provide technical support via e-mail or via phone. Please feel free to contact us if you require technical support. AV Outlet is not responsible for determining a product's fitness for your application. It is ultimately the customer's responsibility to determine if a product fits their needs.

Price Match:
We will do our best to meet or beat our competitors pricing if you give us the chance. The competitor pricing must be a verifiable advertised price. Applicable shipping and taxes are considered for price matching. The competitor must also provide full warranty on their products and must have the product available to ship.

Quantity Discounts:
We provide advertised quantity discounts for the majority of our advertised items. Additional quantity discounts may be available for products not advertised with price breaks as well as for quantities beyond our advertised guidelines.

What We Sell:
Unless otherwise noted, every item listed on our site is brand new "A" stock. On vary rare occasions we do sell customer returns, “B” stock, refurbished and our own demo products. These items will be clearly marked as such.

Warranties:
The products we sell carry all manufacturers warranty. We only provide the information for the warranty duration and do not provide any applicable limitations, coverage or conditions of the warranty. Consumers may check with the respective manufacturers regarding the specific warranty policies.

Product Availability:
The majority of the products we sell are stocked by us in Virginia and a small portion of our products are drop shipped from our various distributors. We may from time to time decide to drop ship an item rather than to ship from stock. We make every effort to only offer items that are immediately available for sale but stock does vary and sometimes advertised availability may not be accurate. In most cases we actually have redundant suppliers for the same item to ensure timely product delivery. If a product is not in stock we will provide you, the customer, the option to split the shipments, cancel items, ship based on product availability or when the complete order is available for shipping. Additional shipping costs will be charged to the customer for split order shipments.

Advertising, Misprints, Picture and Information Errors:
Website errors are quite rare and are typically results of manufacturers and supplier changes. AV Outlet is not responsible for any misprints, typographical, picture, pricing or description errors. We make every effort to make sure the information provided is true and accurate but errors still may occur. If you are unsure about some of the information provided please check the manufacturer’s website for confirmation of specifications, pictures, model numbers, warranties etc. If you need assistance in finding the manufacturer’s website please email or call us and we will gladly assist. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, AV Outlet retains the right to cancel orders with pricing errors. You, the customer are ultimately responsible for ensuring a product is fit for your needs and you should take the necessary steps to ensure you are getting what you need.

Sales Tax:
Sales tax is only collected for orders shipping into Virginia.

Privacy:
We do not give e-mail addresses, telephone numbers or mailing addresses out to anyone. All information given to AV Outlet is confidential and will never be given to solicitors. We do not like spam, we will not spam you and we do not send newsletters.

Acceptable Forms of Payment and Credit Card Processing:
We accept many forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Money Orders, Personal Checks, PayPal and Wire Transfer. We do not accept purchase orders without payment up front and we do not extend net terms for any of our customers. Please note that some forms of payment like personal checks may require additional processing time prior to shipment. We do use credit card address and credit card security number verification services. The billing address and credit card details must match for an order to be processed. For this reason, Gift Cards generally do not work. We do allow shipping to addresses other than the billing address. International credit cards are accepted and can be processed on our website but the cardholder's bank must participate in the address verification services. When you place an order with us we process your credit card as an authorization and this puts a hold on the funds on your credit card. Some banks report these authorizations as charges immediately to your account. We do not actually collect credit card funds until the order ships.

Security:
Our online order processing follows the latest credit card processing guidelines. Our online payment system is safeguarded via encryption and uses uses the latest secure SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to ensure data safety. Additionally, our website does not store your credit card information.

Placing Orders:
We prefer orders to be placed on the website. This minimizes human order entry and fulfillment errors. Customers may use the website with or without having an account with us. Customers with online accounts will be able to view order their order history, reorder products and will be able to track their orders with a simple click. We realize some customers prefer to talk to someone when making a purchase so we do accept phone orders. Phone orders are still technically placed on the website. Expect phone order talk time to be the same as finding the products on a website, adding them to the shopping cart and entering all of the necessary info in order to place an order. Phone orders may be placed using our toll free phone number 1-877-271-5398. Payment for orders paid with a credit card are collected when the product is shipped. When placing an order via e-mail, please print out the Shopping cart and send that to us. Followed by a phone call with your payment information. This will ensure all vital information is received for prompt order processing. When we receive an order we will provide an e-mail response confirming the details of your order. When your merchandise has been shipped we will send a second e-mail with the details of that delivery.

Order Acceptance
The ability to place an order via our website, phone, fax or e-mail and or the receipt of an order confirmation does not indicate the acceptance of your order. All orders are reviewed prior to final processing and shipment. AV Outlet reserves the right at any time to accept or decline your order.

Order Cancellation:
If you place an order by 2pm EST it is likely to ship that same day!! If you desire to cancel an order after the order is shipped, the return policies are enforced. If you refuse delivery of an order after it has shipped, you will be billed for the return shipping fees imposed by our shipper. Custom item orders including but not limited to Special Order Items, Drop Ship Items, Window Treatments, Custom Cables, Carpet Etc. may only be canceled up until they go into production. This policy varies widely witho our suppliers. In many cases you will only have 24 hurs to cancel an order. Once a custom order is in production the order can not be cancelled or modified. Special Order items and Custom Items are items not cancellable nor returnable.

Customer Online Accounts:
Customers creating an online account are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account info and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our sole discretion.

Communication:
Use of the AVOutlet.com website constitutes electronic communication with AV Outlet. Users consent to receive electronic communication from us in the form of e-mail or notices posted to user accounts. You agree that all communications provided electronically satisfy any requirements for communications to be in writing. We do not like spam, we will not spam you and we do not send newsletters.

Returning Items for Refund or Exchange:
We offer a 15 day return policy for most of our items. Returns are typically processed as refunds to the original payment used for the order. We do not process returns for exchange. If you ordered the incorrect item, you will need to place a new order for the replacement. Returnable items are typically only ones that are shipping directly by AV Outlet, not drop shipped, and are stocked items. If you purchase a standard stock, non-closeout and a non discontinued product we will accept the items back without a restocking fee if the items are new, unopened and contain all the original contents. If the product is returned opened, used, missing parts or damaged we may return the item back to you at your cost or we may charge a restocking fee depending on the condition of the product. We do not refund original cost of shipping to the customer regardless of any shipping promotion applied at the time. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. The original manufacturer’s box must not be defaced or altered in anyway. Do not write the RMA# on the box, this makes the merchandise non-resalable. Write the RMA# on the shipping label. Merchandise initially shipped 'double-boxed' must be returned double boxed.

Non-returnable items are typically, but not always, clearly marked as such. Examples of non- returnable items are customized items, special order items including but not limited to Window Treatments, Custom Cables, Carpets, Drop Ship Items, Special Order Items Etc. Please contact us if you are not sure what is returnable.

Before returning any item, you must contact us to obtain an RMA# (Returned Materials Authorization). Our return policy does vary.

Returning Defective Merchandise:
In the event a customer does receive a defective item, AV Outlet will either swap out the defective merchandise or repair defective merchandise depending the type of tem. Defective merchandise must be returned to AV Outlet and in most cases AV Outlet will pay for return shipping costs just as long as we are notified of the problem within 5 business days. Defective merchandise can not be returned for refund unless a replacement is not available or the item can not be repaired in a timely fashion. After 10 days, the manufacturers warranty must be used for repairs or replacement.

Shipping:
Shipping polices do vary based per product and per customer location. Please see each product for shipping specifics. AV Outlet does also provide shipping promotions for specific product purchases and for orders totals over a set dollar amount. See the specific promotion for rules and exclusions.

Products with free shipping or promotions with free shipping are offered with shipping services we select as appropriate for the item to be shipped unless otherwise noted. Free shipping is limited to the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and all other locations will be at additional shipping expense.

Shipping services are not guaranteed. Some carriers guarantee a delivery date with some of their services but there is no guarantee that the product will get there when originally projected. In some cases, upgraded shipping costs may be refundable if a guaranteed delivery date is not met but this may not always be the case. AV Outlet is not liable for loss of income due to items not received by the customer on a target date. Customers should plan accordingly when ordering products so that rush delivery is not required. Products missing shipping/delivery dates are not sufficient reason for cancelling orders or returning products. Our return policies still apply for products not shipped/delivered by a specific date. Please do not use US Postal services for time sensitive shipments. While USPS does provide tracking and estimated shipping times they do not guarantee any specific delivery times. FEDEX and UPS have proven to provide reliable tracking information and more timely deliveries and this is particularly true during peak shipping seasons and this includes pandemics.

Shipping via Non-Insured Methods
Shipping options via non-insured methods are clearly marked as "Not Insured". All other shipping methods are insured. You agree to not hold AV Outlet liable for any loss or damage by selecting a non-insured shipping method. We offer USPS First Class Mail Insured and Non-Insured shipping methods. We strongly discourage the use of non-insured shipping methods.

Our shopping cart calculates shipping cost based on product weight, dimensional weight and type of shipping service selected. Most of the time these rate calculations are very accurate but a times the rates may vary based on product packaging and product availability. If shipping costs need to be increased, you the customer will be notified before we completely process your order. If a product is not in stock we will provide you the customer the option to split the shipments, cancel items, ship based on product availability or when the complete order is available for shipping. Additional shipping costs will be charged to you the customer for split order shipments.

Shipping damage must be reported immediately. Damage claims must be supported with pictures of product packaging and of specific damage to the product. The delivery company must note at time of delivery any external package damage noticed by the receiving party on the shipping companies paperwork at time of delivery. Noting the package damage with the shipping company at time of delivery is of particular importance with Freight shipping. Failure to provide the necessary requirements may result in loss of merchandise.

Order Processing Times
AV Outlet Stocked Items - Stocked item orders using FedEx/UPS services typically ship the same day that the order is placed if the order is received by 1pm EST. Stocked item orders placed using USPS - US Postal services are more likely to ship the next business day due to the early pick-up times of the US Postal Service.

Drop Ship Items - Drop ship orders are typically processed the same day they are received. We can't control our vendors shipping schedule. We have posted the typical processing time each vendor has with the product details as well in the shopping cart and shipping calculation page.

The map below will show approximate delivery times to your area for FedEx/UPS Ground shipments originating from AV Outlet in Virginia. If your order shipment is time critical you may want to contact us prior to making a shipping selection.

US Postal - First Class Mail and Priority Mail
Large Objects - Packages longer than 108" must ship via freight service.

Note: Our website only offers FedEx Ground, USPS First Class/Priority Mail, and LTL Freight Services. We can ship via UPS in most cases at the request of the customer. We can provide expedited shipping services but you must email or call in to request a quote. In some cases we may not be able to provide a super quick quote. Expedited shipping service rates are very dependent on package size and weight so we try to prepack for expedited shipping quotes. We can also ship using your UPS or FedEx account. Shipping is not something we try to make money on and are happy to use your account if that is your preference. Transit times are in business days (M-F).
