To Order: Select the OVERALL Dimensions of the screen you want using the drop down selection boxes to get product price, review & select desired product options and then add the item to your cart. The dimension is always the overall dimension of the screen NOT the viewable area. If you add edge work to the screen material like painted borders or binding it will deduct from the viewable area of the material. Also be sure to add enough material to allow you to attach the material to your frame. If you can not select your size using the pull down boxes you will need to call or e-mail us to inquire about pricing for larger sizes.
Optional Add-ons:
• Painted Black Borders - Black borders can be painted onto the front of the viewing surface to give your screen that nice professional look. The painted borders can be applied to 2 Edges or all four edges of the projection screen material. Remember edge work takes away from the viewable area of the screen material.
Note: Painted borders on unsupported vinyl material might distort if you are not careful to evenly stretch the material as you are applying it to your frame.
Choose from the following painted border options.
2" is the minimum and maximum width of the painted border.
- 2" Painted Black Border along the Top & Bottom Edges of the screen material
- 2" Painted Black Border along the Left & Right Edges of the screen material
- 2" Painted Black Border along the All Edges of the screen material

Da-Lite Projection Screen Materials
Supported Vinyl Projection Screen Material
Supported vinyl projection screen material is a vinyl covered substrate. The substrate in most cases is fiberglass. The fiberglass core provides rigidity to the screen material and allows the material to be used in a variety of applications. Supported vinyl projections screen materials are most commonly used in retractable projection screens but can also be used in fixed frame applications as well as in flying lace and grommet applications. Supported vinyl materials are generally quite durable and this is their main advantage over unsupported vinyl projection screen materials. If you want to hang it, all you have to do is put a weight bar at the bottom of the material to ensure it hangs flat. The use of supported vinyl in fixed frame projection screen applications can be a little more challenging than an unsupported vinyl because you can't simply stretch out wrinkles as you work your way around your DIY frame but because it is durable you can pull out your staples and staple over again until you get it correct. The only real downside to a supported vinyl (for some people) is that they are not as smooth as an unsupported vinyl and typically have a matte or textured surface. This is usually only noticeable in the image for those who are sitting too close. At normal projection viewing distances the matte surface is nearly undetectable. Supported vinyl projection screen materials are not always 100% opaque so if you have a critical application with light coming from behind you may want to ask. Supported vinyl materials typically have a roll width of 8'. Larger roll widths are limitedly available but at very steep prices. Screens larger higher than 96" will require a seam if the width is also larger than 96".
