The A-OK AM35-6/18-ES-E-Z is a RF & ZigBee lithium-ion battery powered roller shade motor. Say good bye to expensive external batteries. Lithium-ion battery technology is mature and has moved into motorized shades. This is now the default option for retrofit installations where wiring to a power source is not possible. The built-in lithium battery is expected to provide approximately 180 cycles of operation (depends on shade size) before needing a charge. That means you'll only need to plug in the optional external battery charger twice a year or so.
This motor can be used with standard A-OK RF remotes and controls. The ZigBee feature of this motor does not need to be used.
RF Control Features - The A-OK AM35 shade motor is Radio Frequency based so you don't have to point the remote at it every time you want to control it. In fact you can control the shades in your living room from your bedroom completely wirelessly. The A-OK motor stores the limits set by the remote controls. With the momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up or Full Down position. Need more programmable stopping positions? Not a problem. The A-OK motors can be programmed for up 6 stopping positions (4 intermediate). The advanced RF control technology offers the user simple individual or group control using basic remote controls as well as Android/iOS mobile device control via a seperate hub/interface. Each motor can be controlled by more than one remote control so you can have dedicated room controls and master controls for the whole home.
Note: The remote controls do not have individual buttons to command control of the intermediate positions. When you press the up or down button the shade will move to the next programmed stopping point. You can command the shade to bypass the intermediate stopping points by double pressing the Up or Down buttons with a 1 second pause between presses.
ZigBee Features - ZigBee provides two way comminucation and creates a mesh network potentially increasing the RF range of Zigbee devices. The ZigBee feature of this motor requires the use of a Tuya ZigBee Hub!! This motor can be controlled by Amazon Alexa ZigBee enabled Echo devices but not directly. The Tuya ZigBee hub is required!! Note: The Echo Dot does not have ZigBee. The Tuya ZigBee hub works with both the Smartlife and Tuya-Smartlife apps to provide mobile device control and scheduled control.

* The stated torque capabilities are using the 10mm stud, heavy duty idler and heavy duty brackets. The motor should be derated to 4Nm (35.4lb on 2" tube) when used with the listed 2" tube components. This is more than enough for a 120"W x 96"H shade using average weight material (12oz/sqyd) and 120" W x 168"H using light weight material (6oz/sqyd). Neither of which are even close to the true lifting capacity of this motor. The limitations are due to deflection of the 2" tube under the associated material weights.

Rollease Shade Tube Specifications
** Projection Distance is the distance from the mounting surface to the center of the tube. Divide your roll diameter in half to figure out which bracket you need. If your roll diameter is 3" you will need the RB380 or RB390 brackets. Use of the RB360 would result in the shade rubbing the wall. If you do not know what your roll diameter is you can calculate the roll diameter using the shade calculator below.
